- A Study on Analysis of Sound Radiation Due to Underwater Shock Waves for Medical Treatment
- Abstract
- When the extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter is operated, the sounds are radiated In this paper, we undoubtedly present a fact that the sounds are radiated from objects to break due to shock waves. For this results, we use the method to identify the location of the sounds radiated using one hydrophone. In addition, we present the method to reduce reflected waves for obtaining the direct waves only and show the efficacy of the method with quantified experimental results. Lastly, we investigate the relation between the radiated sounds and the vibrations of the objects using disc type models like real calculus shapes and present the results to be analyzed.
