Abstract

The purpose of this study is investigate the positive effect with or without taping to plantar foot pressure when working women wear high heels.
The high heels which used for this study was chose from working women's preferred 7cm and 9cm high heels based on a preceding research, and chose in case of women who wear high heels over 4 hours a day and over 4days a week.
The pressure ratio of forefoot and rearfoot was measured before and after with taping therapy when walk with high heels. As the result, the difference of plantar pressure was p>.05 when wear 7cm and 9cm high heels with or without taping therefore there was no effect of taping.
The FF value of 9cm high heel was higher than 7cm high heel on the right foot (p<.05).
The RF value of 7cm high heel was higher than 9cm high heel on the right foot (p<.05).
There was no statistical difference in the plantar pressure of AVG.
The FFMAX value of 9cm high heel was higher than 7cm high heel on the left foot (p<.01). And the FFMAX value of 9cm high heel was higher than 7cm high heel on the right foot (p<.001).
The RFMAX value of 7cm high heel was higher than 9cm high heel on the right foot (p<.01).
The total plantar pressure value of 7cm high heel was higher than 9cm high heel on the left foot (p<.001). and the total plantar pressure value of 7cm high heel was higher than 9cm high heel on the right foot (p<.001).
