노무라입깃해파리 출현변동과 수온

Abstract
A massive blooms of jellyfish is increasing with the interannual variability of bloom scale and size of change. This study investigated the relationship between jellyfish occurrence and water temperature, which may be affect jellyfish bloom, for 14 years from 2006 to 2019, based on the results of fishermmen' monitoring of the National Institute of Fisheries Science(NIFS). The occurrence trend of each monitoring areas was different from year to year in a total of 11 monitoring areas. Occurrence rates were high in Jaeju, Jeonnam, Gyeongnam and Ulsan, which are strongly affected by the Tsushima Warm Current. For 14 years, the occurrence rate of jellyfish repeated increased and decrease. The years of massive occurrence were in 2006, 2007 and 2008. The scale of massive rate after 2010 decreased compared to the 2000s.
The occurrence of Nemopilema nomurai was a weak positive relationship with water temperature. Increasing water temperature can accelerate the rate of jellyfish occurrence by increasing the asexual reproduction of jellyfish polyps. However other factors such as food condition may affect jellyfish blooms in the marine ecosystem.
