수중용접의 품질 확보를 위한 수중 용접절차시방서 개발에 대한 연구
- Alternative Title
- A study on Development of Underwater Welding Procedure Specification to Ensure Quality of Underwater Welding
- Abstract
- The ability of developing WPS(Welding Procedure Specification) / PQR(Procedure Qualification Record) are essential factors to manufacture and fabricate equipments by welding in Underwater environment and offshore plant industries. WPS/PQR must be submitted to the customer prior to project kick off to verify their welding abilities and mechanical properties of welding joint. WPS/PQR is the essential item to participate in the bidding chance to get the new orders in Underwater environment and offshore plant industries. The purpose of developing the WPS establishing guide is to help companies which manufacture and fabricate welding products such as underwater structure, brigdge and etc. This study has found good wet SMAW welding conditions in underwater. This is applicable for fillet joint repair welding and was developed in accordance with AWS D3.6. When working with WPS in underwater environment, it is possible to work without defects, good mechanical property and quality. The customer was satisfied by WPS.
