- Abstract
- In our society, there is a difference between the desired job capacity and the job capacity of young people. And companies have had problems with existing inefficient human resources development. National Competency Standards (NCS) were proposed as an alternative to solve this problem. As a result, human resources are being developed not only in universities but also in companies. Among them, one of the ways that companies apply to new employees is the implementation of 'new employee introduction training'. The intention of educating new employees is to bring about understanding and rapid adaptability of the company and to achieve results as soon as possible. Therefore, the contents of education during the period consisted mainly of training the organization members who can grow smoothly in the organization. In the future, however, educators need to move away from repeating the existing curriculum in designing an introductory education program. In other words, it is necessary to plan an introductory training program for new employees that takes into account the characteristics of new employees and strengthens corporate performance creation
Therefore, this study conducted a study on the recognition of NCS (national incompetence standard) job basic ability between middle managers and new employees
As a result, first of all, the need for interpersonal skills and job ethics was high in all survey subjects. Particularly, according to the positions, NCS recognized that the need for education is higher than that of the employees and the heads, over the entire basic skills of NCS such as communication ability, repair ability, interpersonal ability, information ability, However, in the case of basic foreign language ability, the perception of the necessity of education was low in all survey subjects.
In addition, it was shown that there is a strong interest in the importance of work ethics in the field of work ethics, teamwork ability, conflict management ability and customer service ability in interpersonal ability, and document understanding ability and listening ability in communication ability.
Based on the results of this study, a new employee education program should be prepared that reflects the positions of field practitioners and managers.
In particular, it is necessary that the curriculum that deepens the ability to communicate, interpersonal skills, and occupational ethics should be applied to university and enterprise new employee education programs.
