부산 신항과 중국 주요 6개 항만터미널 운영사의 경영성과 분석

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to identify the financial and operational status of Busan New Port and China's 6 container terminal operators. The research is trying to identify the profitability, stability, growth and activity of container terminal operators through financial ratio analysis. The data source for this article is the annual financial report of the operators from Korea and China from 2013 to 2017. Based on the actual operation of Busan New port container terminal operators and China's 6 port container terminal operators, this paper analyzes 8 financial indicators. The results of the study are as follows: First, operators in Busan New port and China have their own advantages in terms of profitability, stability, growth and security. Second, in general, the financial situation of the 6 container terminal operators in China is slightly better than that of the Busan New port container terminal operators. The asset yield and total asset turnover of China's 6 port container terminal operators are better than those of Busan New port container terminal operators. The current ratio and debt ratio of Busan New port container terminal operators are better than those of China's 6 port container terminal operators. Third, this paper proposes some suggestions for improving profitability for Busan New Port and China's 6 port container terminal operators.
