여자대학생이 지각하는 사회적 지지와 진로장벽이 진로지향성에 미치는 영향
- Abstract
- In the course of female career development, college students are crucial to establish their own identity for their career and prepare for specific employment. But, Career guidance is needed due to career development with complex characteristics according to life cycle. In this career development, it is necessary to investigate what kind of variables influence the characteristics of continuing development of one’s own career to determine the course. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of social support and career barrier perceived by female college students on career orientation.
The purpose of this study was to investigate female college students at colleges and universities located in Busan, regardless of grade or department. A total of 446 students(245 for universities, 201 for colleges) were analyzed from 9 universities. The collected data were analyzed using SPSSWIN 23.0 program. Frequency analysis to know general charactersistics and Cronbach’s alpha was used to determine the reliability of the test. And correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to examin the effect of social support and career barrier perceived by female college students on career orientation. Research problems are as follows. First, what is the relationship between perceived social support, career barriers, and career orientation?. Second, how do social support and career barriers perceive female college students affect career orientation?.
The results of this study are as follows. First, Social support, career barriers, and career orientation. The results showed that most factors were correlated. But, the correlation between the career barriers and the career–orientation sub-factors showed a little significant correlation. Second, the social support and career barrier variables perceived by female college students had a significant effect on career orientation. However, when the sub-factor of career orientation was analyzed as subordinate variable, the effect of career barriers was different according to sub-factors.
