지역적 특색을 고려한 범죄예방 환경디자인의 필요성 연구

Abstract

Due to the rapidly increasing rate of crime in recent years, the psychological anxiety of citizens is increasing.

One of the measures to reduce the crime rate is CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). CPTED has been proven to be effective in overseas by safely changing the environment of the street and lowering the probability of crime.

CPTED introduced in Korea was applied not only to improve the physical environment safely but also to create a more effective and lasting safe village through the identification of local crime tendency and collecting opinion of residents' community.

However, consistent guidelines that do not take account for characteristics of the region have reduced residents' attachment to the region and led them to poor participation.

The purpose of this study is to identify the current status of the CPTED project in Busan and to suggest the necessity of reflecting local characteristics in the existing pretest guideline as an additional improvement plan.
