동자개, Pseudobagrus fulvidraco의 생물축적, 항산화 효소 및 면역 반응에 미치는 Cu와 EGCG의 복합적 영향

Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine how bioaccumulation, growth performance, hematological, oxidative stress and immune properties of dietary Cu and dietary EGCG change in Pseudobagrus fulvidraco (mean length 16.9±1.38 cm, and mean weight 53.2±1.22 g). We fed 0, 700, 900, 1100mg/kg Cu for 4 weeks and then fed 0.01, 0.05% EGCG for 2 weeks to P. fulvidraco under 18℃±0.4 temperature.
First, in response to Cu, the accumulation of copper significantly increased in organs of P. fulvidraco and the highest accumulation was observed in intestinal tissues. The growth performances of P. fulvidraco, BWG, FER, SGR, condition factor and HSI were significantly decreased. In hematological parameters, hemoglobin, hematocrit and RBC count were significantly decreased, and the notable alteration in plasma components such as magnesium, glucose, total cholesterol, total protein, ALP, GOT, and GPT were observed. But, calcium did not change. In antioxidant, the SOD and CAT activity of liver and gill were considerably elevated by the dietary Cu exposure. In addition, immune response, the lysozyme and phagocytosis activities of plasma were significantly lower by the dietary Cu exposure.
Then, in response to EGCG, the accumulation of copper significantly decreased in organs of P. fulvidraco. However, there was little or no positive changes by EGCG in growth performances. In hematological parameters, RBC count, glucose, total cholesterol, ALP, GOT and GPT were increased, indicating a positive change by EGCG. However, there was no positive change by EGCG in hemoglobin, hematocrit, calcium, magnesium and total protein. In antioxidant, both SOD and CAT increased with EGCG positive change. Finally, immune response, the lysozyme was increased by EGCG, but not in phagocytosis.
These results suggest that Cu and EGCG effect the bioaccumulation, oxidative stress and immune responses in Korean bullhead, Pseudobagrus fulvidraco.
