Abstract

This study is about the social adaptation of immigrant women married to Korean immigrants. This study focuses on the social adaptation of Chinese female immigrants in Busan on the basis of relevant international marriage studies and social adaptation studies. It is to address the point of view. The research method used snowball sampling or convenience sampling to select 12 Chinese female marriage immigrants from the Busan area for interviews and conducted in-depth interviews with their daily lives, conversations and gatherings. The results of the survey and analysis of Chinese immigrant women in Busan who participated in the study are summarized as follows. Chinese female marriage immigrants in the Busan region mainly adapt to their social efforts through the efforts of individuals. In addition, ethnic groups in China also influence their social adjustment. Behind this active social adaptation, the individual, delay, academic, institutional and cultural factors all influence social adaptation. The study found that Chinese female marriage immigrants in Busan face many social adjustment difficulties. These difficulties were identified as problems of cultural adaptation, language adaptation, and economic adaptation. Policy guarantees, economic support, and cultural support should be strengthened for adaptation problems caused by these difficulties in social adaptation. Through these three aspects, Chinese female immigrants in Busan are encouraged to make in-depth social adaptation faster.
