부산 지역 중국인 학습자의 한국어 종결 표현에 나타나는 억양 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the intonation between Chinese Korean learners in Seoul and Busan by observing the intonation patterns when the Chinese learners use the final endings in Korean, to conclude if the Chinese Korean learners are affected by the Busan dialect. In some cases, the connecting endings may have a new meaning when it performed as final ending; In some cases, the original ending may be retained. But in this paper, both of situations are defined as “the final ending”. In addition, the former is classified as Type A and the latter as Type B for distinguishing. In this paper, we select the final endings with high frequency of appearance in daily conversations, such as -거든’, ‘-는데’, ‘-(으)ㄹ 걸’, ‘-(으)면’, ‘-(아)서’. by observing the type of tones to analyze the intonation. The contents of this paper are organized as follows. In the first chapter, we reviewed previous studies related to this paper. We mainly studied on two sides. One is the study of intonation when using the final endings, and the other is the study of the influence of Busan dialect on the intonation of foreign Korean learners. In chapter two, we analyzed the Korean accent system, the function of final endings and the characteristics of intonation, the characteristics of the accent of speech in the Busan dialect, and the characteristics of the Chinese intonation of final endings. Chapter three is an experimental part. We chose three Korean speakers in their 40s and over from Busan, and ten Chinese Korean learners from Seoul and Busan for each. Females change their intonation more than males, so the survey objects defined in Korean and Chinese females. Chinese survey objects are Koran learners in 20s and 30s who have lived in Korea for more than two years. In Chapter four, the paper analyzed and conducted the results of the experiment. The last chaper, chapter five is the conclusion part. The implications of this study are presented.
