Abstract

With the complete revision of the Occupational Safety and Health Act in 2020, the work of safety managers has increased, but accidents and deaths at construction sites have not decreased. This raised doubts, and the Work Status of Safety Managers was selected as a research topic. The purpose of this study is to examine in detail the safety manager's work status survey and improvement plan. In this study, the concept and role of safety managers were defined, the work of safety managers and the status of appointment of safety managers were identified, and a survey was conducted on safety managers working at construction sites. In addition, improvement measures were proposed to improve the problems that appeared through the survey results.
