- Abstract
- BIM(building information modeling) is a system which performs efficient cooperative work over whole life cycle of facilities based on 3D information model. The proceeding of the study for introduction of such BIM focuses on large government -run project. But small and medium project shows block of construction information compared to large project. And even in small project, there can be complicated and complex work. So, introduction of BIM is needed. Accordingly, it seems that reflecting such situation, small and medium project with lack of available resources needs realistic alternative for introduction of BIM rather than large project.
Accordingly, the study defined BIM customized for small and medium sized business as Pseudo BIM with which effect of BIM can be obtained without investment of excessive personnel, cost, and time. And concept and building method of such Pseudo BIM were suggested. And considering characteristics of construction information, this study suggested building method of data dictionary which takes in charge of framework of Pseudo BIM. Through suggested building method of data dictionary for Pseudo BIM, after preliminary experiment, function and effectiveness of Pseudo BIM were tested.
