매체를 활용한 공감적 듣기 교육 방법 연구

Abstract

갈수록 다른 사람과의 소통은 잘 이루어지지 않고 대화를 통해 문제를 해결하고 힘을 얻는 모습은 찾기 힘들다. 게다가 의사소통의 기본이 되어야 할 듣기 교육은 현실적인 요구에 직접 부응하지 못하고, 실제 학교 현장에서 교사가 수업을 할 수 있는 구체적인 교수 학습 방안도 부족하다. 이에 본 연구는 공감적 듣기의 개념과 특성을 이론적으로 고찰하고 공감적 듣기 교육을 구체적으로 실행할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 제Ⅱ장에서는 문헌 연구를 통해 공감적 듣기의 개념과 특성, 매체를 활용한 듣기 교육, TV토크쇼의 교육적 활용에 대하여 이론적으로 고찰한다. 이를 토대로 제Ⅲ장에서는 공감적 듣기 교육의 실태를 분석한다. 그 방법으로 교육과정과 현행 화법 교과서를 살펴보고 공감적 듣기 부분이 이론적 내용을 바탕으로 제대로 구현되어 있는지를 분석해 본다. 그리고 특성화고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 한 설문 조사를 통해 학생들의 공감적 듣기에 대한 인식 조사도 실시하여 고등학생 수준에 걸맞은 공감적 듣기 교육 방법을 모색해본다. 제Ⅳ장에서는 공감적 듣기의 이론적 토대와 현행 교육과정, 화법 교과서를 통해 도출된 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 대안으로 TV토크쇼 프로그램을 활용한 교수 학습 방법을 제시하였다. TV토크쇼 프로그램 자료를 수집하여 공감적 듣기 교수 학습 방법으로 재정비하여 실제 수업에 사용할 수 있도록 공감적 듣기 수업안을 제시하였다. 이때 제시되는 공감적 듣기 교육 자료는 단순히 학생들의 공감적 듣기 능력만을 향상시키는 것이 아니라 자기 자신에게만 기울어져 있던 관심을 자연스럽게 내 주위 가족과 친구, 나아가 어려운 이웃과 세상으로 퍼져갈 수 있도록 학생들의 인성을 신장시킬 수 있는 자료를 선별하여 제공해야 한다.

These days, people have difficulty interacting with one another and it is hard to find the cases of settling down the problem between people through communication. Moreover, listening education, which is the basis of communication, could not reach the goal of desired standard and we are in lack of tangible teaching-learning methods for it in school. So this study try to consider the concept and characteristics of empathic listening theoretically and develop the possible methods we can put it into practice. In chapter II, This paper made a theoretical survey of the ideas and features of empathic listening, listening education using media, educational applications of TV talk show through referring to Documentary Research. In chapter III, I'll analyze the status of empathic listening education. By the same way It checked the current curriculum and narrative textbook, then reviewed the consequence if the empathic listening is realized in the classroom. By way of perception survey for the students in specialized high schools concerning empathic listening, It tried to find out the most suitable way of empathic listening for the high school student level. In chapter IV, This paper introduced the alternative teaching-learning method using TV talk show programs to solve the problems caused by current curriculums and narrative textbooks. After gathering materials about TV talk show programs and transforming them good for empathic listening teaching, It suggested the teaching plan which can be used in the classroom. The materials suggested for the empathic listening should be carefully selected not merely to promote students' empathic listening capability but to build an upright personality.
