Study on Efficient Arrangement of Submarine Passive Sonars
Abstract
Submarine can be divided into two types of nuclear submarines and submarines. The young submarine's sonar array mounted and operated, particularly diesel submarines array that are exposed to the outside world. existing sonar have to install array and processing because not only it has not been working on the voyage, but also mount on head, side of submarine. Otherwise, if conformal array will be installed, the array have a advantage as compact structure with integrated sonar and is able to use only one. Conformal array is one of array and different forms into one integrated passive submarine sonar arrays. the array is using by now.
In this paper, I would like to propose and develop conformal array with high performance as compact structure and more effective sonar operation to improve the tactical capabilities than passive sonar arrays.
When submarine voyage under the water(awarded the sail, sonar operation while submarine is submerged), conformal array fix the problem which did not detected on broadband, take effect between narrow band and broadband as like torpedo detection, calculation of distance from one array and redundancy performance index. Besides, detection beam is considered to be the ability to benefit from improved performance. Detection performance index number show a planar array is about two times higher compared to the line type to be good. Forward sonar development and an infinite array of various forms have been developed and more efficient, economical, and excellent sonar detection performance of each country shall be mounted on the submarine.
