Abstract

The life of landing piers generally considered as forty years. But, landing piers have different conditions resulted in the method of using, maintenance and management. The purpose of this study is to find the effective management in a way of both repair performance and field materials. Also, I wanted to clarify the major reason for cracks created at bottom part of landing port, mostly the destruction of port is resulted from cracks seen the bottom part of port. So, this study analyzed actual cases of damaged port as well as repaired status. As a result of research, it could be forecasted that the characters of destruction would be differed by handing freight, loading equipments, geographical features, the way of management and using port and so on. So, It is necessary for us to design the new future port in view of destruction characters mentioned above. If we could manage to match this study to real-life cases, we can make the optimized control system. I expect that my study become very helpful.
