ARIS and UML Modeling to Develop School Management Information System Based on National Education Standards of Indonesia

Abstract
The School Management Information System (SMIS) is important to accomplish educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is related with an attempt to develop the SMIS in Indonesian case.
With around 237.424.363 population and 33 provinces, and there are only six official religions that recognized by Indonesian government, it is focused in Indonesian National Education Standards to analysis by used ARIS. In this model, EPC model become the central model for all business modeling in ARIS. It is has nine standards that by the Regulation of Education Ministry are described. The performing EPC model require an event to represent the changing state of the world as a process proceeds, and a function to represent the activities or tasks that carried out as part of a business process. The new system of Content Standards and Management Standards are developed by using UML, with consider to the government rules. It is constructed by Together 2008. Finally, the conclusion and future research are determined.
