- Abstract
- In this study, efficiency and electrical characteristics of DSSC was measured by the fabrication of TiO2 photo electrode and counter electrode.
The electrical efficiency and characteristics were measured and compared by fabricating a TiO2 photo electrode and a non-metal counter electrode and DSSC according to the interval between the two electrodes. The conclusions obtained are as follows.
The efficiency of DSSC without PEG was determined to be 5.081%. The efficiency increased to 5.387% at a thickness of 26 μm TiO2 photo electrode prepared by adding 5% of PEG 20000 to TiO2 paste.
To replace this, in order to produce non-platinum counter electrode, Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is added to the PEDOT:PSS to complement low conductivity.
In addition, the characteristic efficiency of DSSC added and produced by adding the CNT (Cabon Nano Tube) was measured and compared.
The efficiency with and without addition of 0.1 wt% CNT was measured higher. The efficiency was low at 0.15wt% and 0.2wt% of CNT addition. The efficiency was confirmed due to the increase of the overall maximum current and the filling factor. The highest efficiency was found to be 6.744% by adding 0.1 wt% of CNT.
