U자형 탱크의 실험적 모드해석

Abstract
Recently, ship and marine structures are more complex and larger. Also the structure and equipment become electronic, it has an effect on economy according to the weight of ship.
There exists various tanks which is filled with the substance like fuel, oil and clear water. So the natural frequency is getting lower through a fluid.
Therefore, it is very important to control the vibration, and also it needs to know the characteristic of vibration at the first design phase.
There exists various tanks in the ship and marine structure.
It continues to be as vigorous as ever about the vibration characteristic of the various tanks, and we need to study the characteristic of vibration of the U shape Anti-Rolling Tank(ART).
Until now, simple type tanks like rectangular and cylindrical tanks have been studied by many researchers, but any shape tanks like U-shape tanks have not been studied. The vibrational analysis on an elastic of the bottom, a rigid body of the side, a free surface of the top of the cylindrical tanks has been studied by Chiba(2000), Mazuch(1996) analyzed the fluid and structures about the vibration of the cylindrical tanks using the finite element method(FEM).
There is the study about the sloshing mode of the cylindrical tanks by Cho(2011). Kito(1960) said it considered the added mass effects drop the natural frequency of the rectangular tanks when the thin plate of an elastic body filled with water in the tanks. It found of the added mass effect connected between plates using the water expansion method by Nisino(1995). Also Bartlette applied the added mass to evaluate the natural frequency of rectangular tanks using the finite element method(FEM). Bae(2003) analyzed the plates of rectangular tank using FEM(finite element method) and fluid region using BEM(boundary element method).
The goal of this study is to find out the vibration characteristic of U-shape tanks.
