무용전공자의 신체적 자기개념, 자기관리

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of dance majors’ physical self-concept and self-management on emotion. To obtain the purpose, a nationwide questionnaire survey was conducted to the total of 424 students majoring in dance at middle and high school, university, and others from January 2012 to April 2012. Followings are results of this study.

First, the difference of dance majors’ physical self-concept, self-management, and emotion according to demographic characteristics,
After examining the difference of physical self-concept, we realized that there were significant differences according to gender, educational background, major, and career. There were significant differences of health, appearance, body fat, and flexibility according to gender, of appearance and regular exercise according to educational background, of regular exercise according to major, and of body fat and regular exercise according to career.

We also observed the difference of self-management. There were significant differences of metal management in gender, of interpersonal and training management in educational background, and of interpersonal, training, and mental management in career.
