유 미리의 작품 속에 나타난 과 의 연구분석

Abstract

Yu Miri, a Korean Japanese writer, as the first-born daughter with two brothers and one sister, started her own dynamic and valuable life in 1968 in Yokohama and has been grown up in mistreatment and violence by her parents and also bulled by her friends. After dropping at her 1styear of her high school, she had come on the stage as an actress at 'Tokyo Kid Brothers' for about 2 years and then started to write a drama. 『Family Cinema』 gave her 116th Akutagawa Award in Japan. Many researches on her works generally have showed a criticism-focused as her resources were mainly from repetitive dark sides of family break-ups, adultery, statutory rape, stalking, and suicide. From knowing in depth of her differentiated-personal-history point of view that is somewhat different from normal, the researcher was able to get better understanding for the world of her whole works. The ‘Differentiated Personal History’ triggered the researcher to go on a full research and deeply to analyze her works in detail based on two aspects, and . First of all, the author analyzed and compared the characteristics of each mother in 『Family Cinema』,『After the Rain and Dreams』and『Life』for the perspective of . In 『Family Cinema』, a mother describing Yu Miri’s mother, meet a man while working at a cabaret and leave home to live with the man. Moreover, she, only interested in her better appearance, doesn't care about housework or childbearing. In 『After the Rain and Dreams』, a mother named Tskie, get married with a man during her pregnancy with a different man who were in his own marriage and pursues her own happiness leaving 2-year-old daughter, Ame. After ten years, she tries to live together with Ame’s family. In 『Life』, a woman reflecting Yu Miri herself fall in love with an unidentified man and has a baby unexpectedly. She thinks an abortion many times and sometimes abuses her son in her childbearing. On the other point of view, , the researcher examined deeply-rooted prejudice and discrimination against Korean in the Japanese society and also bullying in schools through『What a fish dreamt』,『Life』and『The Further of August』. Criticism toward the writer and her works may be arisen by the fact that people do not accurately understand her unfortunate life on ‘Differentiated Personal History’. Researcher hopes that this paper report will be a cornerstone to enhance the understanding of her works as well as her life on the basis of the conceptualization ‘Differentiated Personal History’ so that moving forward more people can get better accessibility to her works.
