Abstract
High school student has much mathematics anxiety by many factors around high school students.
For example, this factors are entrance examination, daily life, school education and negative experience at past about math, negative speech of myself about math. therefore, In this research, high school to divided by senior high school and vocational high school. so that i compared about factors of mathematics anxiety between senior high school and vocational high school to investigate to gap of between senior high school and vocational high school.
We conducted a questionary survey of one and two grade 120 high school students (39 senior high school students, 81 vocational high school students) and analysed their questionaries by Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Program (in short SPSS)
The result by SPSS Statistical Analysis of this study is as follows.
1. Both senior high school and vocational high school has the higher math anxiety in school education, the higher math anxiety in daily life. especially, in senior high school, the math anxiety of daily life is lower than that of school education.
2. Students thinking about usefulness of math are appears to be low at both high school. and there is no difference between high school and vocational high school. therefore, we found that many student study math without understanding of what necessary of math.
3. In negative factors about math anxiety, prejudice is the highest factors. and math anxiety appear to be high in the order prejudice, negative thinking of student about math and negative experience of student about math
