M2M 표준 기술 기반의 스마트 가전 통합 서비스 플랫폼 설계 및 구현

Abstract
The household appliances that have been recently released a lot are loaded with smart functions, but there is a difficulty in integrating services because such appliances provide its own independent system depending on manufacturer.
Accordingly, we study carries out a research on the integrated service platforms for smart home appliances in the field of M2M, which has been increased rapidly in recent years.
For the standard technology-based service integration, various M2M standards such as WoT, IoT, and ETSI M2M are studied. Based on the standard technologies, we define a service model on a total of 4 smart home appliances and design and implement the components including necessary functions for integrated service platforms.
The integrated service platforms of smart home appliances do not support IP and HTTP, but do support separate interworking methods for smart home appliances that provide the communication standards such as ZigBee or RS 485. In addition, the interworking technology with ESB, a middleware for integrating the existing services with the service platform of smart home appliances is suggested.
And then, we study describes a prototype system implemented for verifying the performance of service platforms of smart home appliances, measures the overhead required for providing smart home services in this environment of prototype system, and evaluates the suitability of service platforms of smart home appliances to consider the efficiency.
This study is significant in that the integrated service platforms of smart home appliances proposed in this study can implement the services of smart home appliances without causing any issues of intellectual property rights using the web standards already verified and widely used from technological aspects, and the service platform technology of smart home appliances based on M2M standard technology is expected to contribute greatly to the emission of exhaust gas and greenhouse gas and power reduction by making more effective and smart activities possible.
