Abstract
In this paper, the experiments are done by the continuous casting using the twin – roll technique.

The fact that main parameters which have an effect on quality of the strip are the roll gap, roll speed, entrance temperature of molten material have been confirmed.

Possible ranges of the casting temperature concerning to roll speed and each roll gap throughout continuous casting of the material Al 2024 alloy by twin - roll have been confirmed by an experiment.

The optimum value of the hardness which is one of the mechanical properties in the continuous casting process of A; 2024 alloy using the twin – roll technique is obtained by the surface response method.
