안약의 정량 투여를 위한 적정 용기 소재 개발
- Abstract
- People's fatigue increased as life was advanced and the industry developed. It is easy to deteriorate the health of your eyes, which are exposed to various displays such as smartphones and monitors and have no time to rest. In general, the eye drops are accommodated in an eye drop container having a funnel-shaped container cap, the user drops his head in an open state and presses the eye drop container to drop the eye drop through the container cap and inject it into the eye.
Since the existing ophthalmic container does not have an index to administer the correct amount, it was to inject the eye by simply tilting or pressing the ophthalmic container depending on the feeling of the patient. Therefore, there is a problem in that the case of wasting the chemical liquid or the effect of the chemical liquid is deteriorated due to the inability to administer a fixed amount of the chemical liquid. The eye drop administration device in this study detects the position of the eyeball of the user most suitable for the eye drop administration and automatically receives the appropriate amount of eye drops.
The purpose of this study is to identify the hygiene of storage by analyzing the existing eye drop case and to prove its effectiveness and safety through the application of appropriate materials. Existing products and patents related to eye drop containers are analyzed based on preservation, user convenience, and quantitative administration. Patents for preventing contamination of eye drops and patents for users to safely administer drugs have been developed, but there are no patents related to quantitative administration. Therefore, in terms of quantitative administration, a dosage form using an elastic material of a one-touch button was devised.
In particular, when the button is returned to the original position after the eye drops are administered by pressing the elastic material, there is a possibility that contamination by external air occurs when external air is injected. It is necessary to develop anti-pollution measures, and it is also necessary to consider adding additional devices capable of safe administration.
This study does not use advanced expertise and problem-solving strategies. Recognition of the originality of the idea has significance in the future of further research in engineering. By convergence research and development based on practical needs, it will secure technological competitive advantage and solve problems that can help medical science, engineering, and academia.
