Influencing Factors on the Continuous Use Behavior of Smart Elderly Care Service Users
- Alternative Title
- Abstract
With the increasing aging of the population, the inadequacy of traditional elderly service methods, and the still imperfect development of new smart elderly care services, promoting a smart elderly care service model has become the top priority in solving the elderly care problem. Moreover, to make the smart elderly care service sustainable, we need to focus on the quality construction of smart elderly care products and improve the technology of smart products and services. Increase the use of it by the elderly groups and expand the use range of the elderly users to improve the continuous use intention and behavior of the elderly groups.
From the perceived quality of smart elderly care service, this study takes the elderly group aged 60 and above with specific cognitive abilities as the research object. We selected ten cities with a high degree of aging and enterprises, streets (townships), or bases in China included in the pilot demonstration of smart health and elderly care services as the study sample. Based on the literature research method and interview method, we constructed a model of factors influencing the continuous use behavior of users of smart elderly care services. We developed a scale of continuous use behavior of smart elderly care services for this study based on the proven scales of other scholars. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by spss24, AMOS24, and process3.4 to validate further and improve the structural equation model of this study, test the factors influencing the continuous use behavior of the users of smart elderly care services, and verify the hypotheses of this study.
The conclusion of this study: perceived quality has a significant positive effect on satisfaction, perceived usefulness, and continuous use intention, but physical environment quality in perceived quality does not have a significant effect on continuous use intention; perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived trust have a significant positive effect on satisfaction and continuous use intention; satisfaction has a significant positive effect on continuous use intention and continuous use behavior; satisfaction and continuous use intention have a significant positive effect on continuous use behavior. The child impact did not support a moderating effect on the relationship between continuous use intention and continuous use behavior in the moderating effect analysis. In the analysis of differences in continuous use behavior, there were significant differences in continuous use behavior at different levels of education, levels of monthly income, and levels of health status, but not at different levels of occupation.
Based on these findings, this study proposes management recommendations in the following aspects: promoting the development of smart elderly care services and talents and the construction of service platforms to improve service quality; meeting user needs and improving the perceived usefulness; improving the ease of use of products and platform services; preventing information security problems and improving users' perceived trust in smart elderly care service; improving the satisfaction of elderly users and implementing different types of users for differentiated management. Although this study integrates the model and proposes the factors influencing the continuous use behavior of smart elderly care service users from perceived quality, there are limitations in the tracking survey time. Because it is continuous use behavior, we should also track and analyze it in-depth, and its influencing factors should be analyzed in-depth.
