Abstract

Through the development of technology around the world, digital transformation of manufacturing has been accelerated and a technology environment capable of self-production has been created. The domestic government is paying attention to maker culture as the driving force behind economic innovation growth, and Makerspace is increasing through related policy support. Based on this background, this study judged that it was necessary to analyze the current status of domestic makerspace that has spread to policy support. Social and policy implications were derived by collecting trends and major issues of Makerspace through press repots analysis that can confirm the popular trend. Through this study, the following policy implications were obtained. First, it is necessary to expand policy support to enhance the ability to produce prototypes and mass production using Makerspace. Second, in order to raise social awareness of Makerspace, various information that can be delivered to the public should be considered through related performance tracking, planned coverage, and exploration coverage.
