Abstract

This study conducted in 2022, targeting 200 college freshmen, which aims to address the mathematical errors they make in linear algebra through individualized tutoring. The process is as follows: First, based on students' questions, identify what mathematical errors they are making. Second, determine what kind of individualized tutoring is needed for these mathematical errors. Third, examine what key points should be considered during the individualized tutoring process. Lastly, through these processes, how should students plan their future learning strategies. Based on this result, we examine the relationship between the analysis of mathematical errors in linear algebra, individualized tutoring, and improvement of academic abilities, and propose methods for resolving mathematical errors.
