- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to examine the social discourse related to childcare teachers by period of government by analyzing keyword networks related to childcare teachers, focusing on the government period from the 18th to the 20th. The research questions to achieve this research purpose are as follows.
First, what is the result of the entire keyword network analysis related to childcare teachers?
Second, what is the result of keyword network analysis by government period related to childcare teachers?
For this purpose, web data provided by Textom was used to collect rawDATA centered on the keyword ‘childcare teacher’. A 1-mode matrix data set was created based on the data that had undergone the first and second refinement processes, and a keyword network analysis was conducted for the entire government and for each recent government.
The results of analyzing the collected data are as follows.
First, six factors related to ‘qualification standards', ‘child abuse', ‘early childhood education and child care integration', ‘nuri curriculum', ‘improvement of working conditions and treatment', and ‘academic interest' are keywords ranked in the top 200 among keywords related to childcare teachers, and keywords such as ‘certificate', ‘daycare center', ‘acquisition', ‘childcare', ‘subject', and ‘credit bank' appeared as keywords with high frequency and centrality.
Second, as a result of examining the formation of discourse by government period related to childcare teachers, ‘child abuse' was found to be a word with high centrality during the Park Geun-hye administration.
As a result of the study, it was found that the teacher's qualifications were at the center of the social discourse related to childcare teachers, and the stories about childcare-related policies and various realities of childcare teachers were relatively not surfaced. Accordingly, it was suggested that there is a need for more active social interest and discourse on the life of childcare teachers and childcare policies that affect them.
