Abstract

A Study on Korean Language Education Plans for Goryeoin Learners in Elementary School - Focusing on the development of supplementary textbooks- Jin Won Moon Korean Education as a Foreign Langage Graduate School of Education Pukyong National University Abstract The purpose of this study is to prepare a plan to develop supplementary textbooks for 『Standard Korean for Elementary School Students』 for the Korean language learning of children of Korean immigrants. To this end, in Chapter 1, studies on Goryeoin, 『Standard Korean』 textbooks, and supplementary textbooks are reviewed, and in Chapter Ⅱ, the characteristics of Korean immigrant children, the language system of Korean and Russian, multicultural education and KSL Korean language education, The language education approach for the development of textbooks has been summarized. In Chapter Ⅲ, as an elementary Korean language textbook for children of immigrant Goryeoin, the development goal, development direction and compositional principle, unit composition system, and characteristics of the elementary textbook were reviewed and analyzed, and the results and implications were derived. In Chapter Ⅳ, a survey on Korean language education needs for children of Korean immigrants was conducted. The analysis results of the previously discussed needs survey were reviewed, and the analysis results and implications were derived by conducting a survey on Korean language teachers and learners of Goryeoin children. In Chapter 5, based on the analysis results of Chapters Ⅲ and Ⅳ, a plan to develop supplementary textbooks for the Korean language for children of Korean immigrants midway through the process was prepared. As for the development plan of supplementary textbooks, the effectiveness of Korean supplementary textbooks was first revealed, and then the structure of supplementary textbooks and the syllabus were designed in the direction of development, and the actual composition of auxiliary textbooks was presented. As a result, based on the analysis of this study, it is possible to study pronunciation and grammar items for supplementary materials in the main textbook, self-study, assignments, and advanced study while supplementing 『Standard Korean for Elementary School Students』 to improve Korean language learning for Goryeoin children.
