청소년의 부모상실 경험에 관한 질적 메타분석

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to conduct a qualitative meta-analysis of qualitative studies on the experience of parental loss among adolescents in Korea. The analysis included 18 Korean journals listed in KCI from 2007 to 2022. By analyzing the selected literature, we derived a total of three stages of adolescents' experiences with parental loss, which we named 'difficulties with parental loss', 'coping process after parental loss', and 'growth process after parental loss'. The stages were then divided into seven components: the bottom of despair, relative deprivation in daily life, loneliness and social isolation in reality, the experience of a fateful new relationship, inappropriate escape behavior in psychological crisis, and being present in reality and unresolved issues in the process of growing up after parental loss. In the discussion, based on the identified factors and statements, the experience process of adolescent parental loss was described and discussed according to each core concept. This study aims to suggest the direction of research on parental loss and provide basic data that can be effectively utilized in the counseling field for adolescents who have experienced parental loss. Based on this, the implications and limitations of this study were presented, and directions for future research were suggested.|본 연구는 국내에서 청소년의 부모상실 경험을 주제로 한 질적 분석 논문을 대상으로 수행된 연구물에 관한 질적 메타분석을 목적으로 하였다. 분석대상은 2007년에서 2022년까지 KCI에 등재된 국내 학술지 18편이다. 선정된 문헌을 분석하여 청소년 부모상실에 관한 경험을 총 3단계로 도출하였는데 ‘부모상실로 겪는 어려움’, ‘부모상실 후 극복 대처과정’, ‘부모상실 후 성장과정’으로 각각 명명하였다. 이어서 도출된 단계를 7가지 구성요소로 구분하였는데, ‘부모상실로 겪는 어려움’에서는 절망의 밑바닥, 일상 속 상대적 박탈감, 현실의 외로움과 사회적 고립을, ‘부모상실 후 극복 대처과정’에서는 운명적인 새로운 관계의 경험, 심리적 위기의 부적절한 도피행동, ‘부모상실 후 성장과정’은 현실에 존재하기, 미해결과제로 명명하였다. 논의에서는 도출된 요소와 진술문을 바탕으로 각 핵심 개념에 따른 청소년 부모상실에 관한 경험 과정을 설명하고 논의하였다. 본 연구는 부모상실 관련 연구 방향성을 제시하고, 부모상실을 경험한 청소년들의 상담 현장에서 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이를 토대로 본 연구의 함의 및 제한점을 제시하였고, 추후 연구의 방향에 대해 제안하였다.
