Abstract

This study examines the lives of young women from outside the country who live in and around Beijing and Shanghai, specifically the lives of Beipiao and Hupiao women and their relationship to urban life. To this end, the plays "remembrance of things past" and "Nothing But Thirty" were selected for analysis. The above play is one which has done much to commend itself to the sympathy of the public. As a result, interpretations of modern Chinese women's lives, jobs, marriages, consumption and relationships with the city are presented based on the social issues of the young women who appear in the play. It claims to transform the image of women in cities and to provide a profound understanding of China's socioeconomic realities and the image of new women. This study used qualitative research methods to undertake text analysis of a play representing urban women, citing research data from several academic domains linked to urban female youth. 1. Conclusion The dramas used for text analysis focused on and .The papers on Chinese young women and the overall research direction on Beipiao and Hupiao were used as prior research data. It is structured so that comparisons can be made with the conclusions of other studies on the subject of drama. This researcher then focuses on the distinctions between love and space as a result of changes in work life in major cities, investigating situations of women weaponizing sex, changes in workplace demands and workplace atmospheres, and explaining people's newly transformed perceptions and attitudes at work. Next, this researcher examines the changing attitudes of marriage as a result of social growth, the formation of new marriage patterns among leftover women in Beijing, surplus women's worries, and the direction of new choices to meet them. In addition, the consumption habits of women by age, the definition of exquisite and poor, and the motive behind spending for themselves were all examined. Regional features of women living in cities, interpersonal interactions, and the environment in which the cities were chosen were all investigated. Both the selection of a city and the selection of a hometown indicate the drifting process of women who have lived in uncertain conditions their whole lives.
