중국 '경기장 외교(stadium diplomacy)'의 동향에 관한 연구: 주요 사례, 학술적 지형, 및 미디어 담론 분석을 중심으로

Abstract

This study focused on the fact that the "Stadium Diplomacy" policy created and utilized by China in international diplomacy over the past 60 years has sparked widespread discussion in the international arena. This study aims to introduce and analyze how related research and media describe and evaluate them, and further analyze in-depth discourse trends and patterns in which related research and media discuss foreign policy in the arena in international political relations. This study is divided into two main categories. First, scholars and researchers summarize and introduce English academic research related to Chinese stadium diplomacy, and collect and collect discourse trends on Chinese stadium diplomacy during related academic research to talk about the structure and topography. Second, it collects and exhibits articles on Chinese stadium diplomacy of major Western English media and major English media in China, analyzes and interprets the trends in discourse and evaluation of Western media on Chinese stadiums, and explains through what discourse patterns major English media in China build the characteristics and values of their stadium diplomacy on the international stage. Finally, this study reveals and discusses the differences in international public opinion on stadium diplomacy between the two discourse patterns through academic research on Chinese stadium diplomacy and the analysis of media reporting discourse patterns. It reveals the problems revealed by analyzing and discussing these differences in discourse patterns and provides implications for the development of discourse trends in research and reporting in Chinese stadium diplomacy in the future and how China can better establish its diplomatic image internationally.
