Abstract: 인류의 해양활동이 증가함에 따라 해양폐기물로 발생하는 문제가 점차 심각해지는 추세이며, 그 중 침적폐기물로 인한 피해는 탐지가 힘들며 처리 비용 또한 크게 발생하기에, 해양폐기물을 탐지하는 방식의 강화와 그 처리 방법의 최적화가 필수적이다. 해양폐기물의 양은 매년 증가하는 추세를 보이며, 이는 해양환경 및 관련 산업에 부정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다. 한반도의 해안별 침적폐기물 분포를 통해 한반도 일대의 침적폐기물 비율과 형태를 조사하였으며, 이를 기반으로 하여 스마트 기술을 접목하는 등의 효과적인 처리방식을 개발하는 것이 필요하며, 침적폐기물 자체를 관리 및 탐지하는 것 또한 중요하다.
