노즐 간격이 미분무 특성과 열복사 차단 성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 실험적 연구

- Abstract
- In this study, the effect of distance between nozzles on the water mist characteristics and thermal radiation blocking performance was experimentally investigated using two kinds of swirl nozzles. For the single nozzle condition, as the water flow rate increased, the droplet size decreased, and the droplet velocity and spray width increased, Additionally, the volume flux decreased near the nozzle centerline, while it increased toward the outer region of the nozzle. The thermal radiation blocking rate increased with increasing the water flow rate. For the double nozzle conditions, when the distance between nozzles was narrow, the differences of droplet size, droplet velocity, and volume flux of water mist between the single and double nozzle conditions were significant. However, when the distance between nozzles was wide, the differences between the single and double nozzle conditions were relatively small. This seems to be because of the reduction of interaction between two water mists. The thermal radiation blocking rate of water mists discharged from double nozzles increased as the distance between the nozzles became to decrease.
