인진쑥 추출물을 함유한 기능성식품 섭취가 간손상에 미치는 영향

Abstract

1. 식이섭취량은 대조군이나 인진쑥 섭취 군에 비해 알코올 투여 군에서 유의적으로 낮게 나타났으나, 체중증가량과 성장률은 알코올 투여 군과 인진쑥 투여 군이 유의적으로 높게 나타났다. 이는 알코올 투여로 인한 추가 열량공급에 기인한 것으로 사료된다. 2. 과량의 에탄올 섭취는 지방간 및 간장의 섬유화로 간이 비대해지는 것으로 알려졌으며 본 실험에서도 알코올 투여 군에서 간의 무게가 대조군에 비해 유의적으로 증가하였다. 인진쑥 투여군의 경우 유의적이지는 않지만 알코올 투여 군에 비해 간 무게가 약간 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 심장, 신장 및 비장의 무게는 각 군 간의 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 3. 알코올 섭취는 혈장 중성지방과 동맥경화지수를 높이고 인진쑥 투여 시 약간 낮아지는 경향을 보여주었지만 통계적 유의성은 없었다. 혈중 총 콜레스테롤, HDL 콜레스테롤 및 LDL 콜레스테롤은 각 군 간의 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 4. 인진쑥 및 알코올을 6주간 투여 후 혈장 GOT, GPT (간 손상지표)를 측정한 결과 인진쑥을 포함한 탕제 투여군의 경우 알코올 투여 군에 비해 유의적으로 혈장 GOT, GPT 활성 감소효과를 보여주었다. 따라서 인진쑥을 포함한 탕제는 알코올에 의해 유도되는 간 조직 손상에 대한 보호 작용이 있는 것으로 사료된다.

The propose of this study was to investigate the possibility of medical plants application as an edible functional food resource. this research was planned to apply Artemisia capillaris, which is one of the most widely used oriental medicinal resource into beverage., and to evaluate the vaidity and the nutrients of the developed beverage with Artemisia capillaris. Following the plan, we analyzed contens of the general nutritional composition, mineral and amino acid contents. Artemisia is a major edible vegetable in Korea and it has traditional been used as a herbal mesicine for the treatment of coughing, abdominal pain, indigestion, bleeding, jaundice, chronic liver disease and diabetes. However the biological and pharmacological actions of the herb have not been studied well. Recenyly it is known to process antibacterial, antihelmintic and antifertility activities. But the effect of Artemisia capillaris extract on alcohol induced liver damage in cell have not been reported yet. Thus study was designed to invegeste the effect of Artemisia capillaris extracts on alcohol induced liver damage in cell.
