A Process for Selection Heat Pump by ANP Method
Abstract
By elevating the standard of living by economic growth, the demand for comfort and convenient interior environment have increased. For the reason, supply of air conditioners which are dependent electric power is increasing rapidly. Demand of air conditioners made social problems, an increased demand of electric power and an electric power shortage. The government encouraged ice thermal storage cooling system to solve the problems. But the method was not effective to solve them, so the governmen found another method. That is using alternative energy, gas. According to demand variation of gas and electric power in 2003, TDR(turn down ratio) of electric power was 1.4, the gas was 4.0. Because of disparity of electric power and gas in each season we need a management about energy demand.
Recently Electric Heat Pump(EHP) and Gas Engine Driven Heat Pump(GHP) are used in small and medium building. They are selected on economical efficiency generally. But we need various a valuation basis, to keep our comfortable environment ; not only economical efficiency but also maintenance managements
The purpose of this study is to select suitable air conditioner, GHP and EHP, by the ANP(analytic network process) method as proper multi decision making process by which we can consider synthetical estimate. This study would be useful selection of air conditioner as basic data.
This study is composed according that selecting valuation bases according to another studies to make model, comparing both GHP and EHP by the valuation bases, making up questions to staffs in charge about valuation bases; planing, construction, Maintenance Managements and making necessary network to need selection GHP and EHP.
In the network, analyzing LCC for economical efficiency which is quantitative data by the present price method. In the qualitative analysis, selecting important data by bipolar method after taking professional advice about each valuation bases, using Excel to calculate super matrix for comparing each other, and using one 20Hp outdoor unit and five 4Hp indoor unit, 4-way cassette type according to each system.
These are the results of analysis by ANP to select EHP and GHP about economical efficiency, Maintenance Managements and organization of instrument.
(1) According to analysis of questions to specialists , this is the order of valuation bases; economical efficiency(31%), Maintenance Managements(28%), organization of instrument(25%)
(2) By the analysis of LCC15, GHP is 11% cheeper than EHP
(3) By the result of importance by ANP, the systems are EHP(0.32) and GHP(0.28), valuation bases are economical efficiency(0.18), Maintenance Managements(0.11), organization of instrument(0.11)
According to result of this study, the importance of GHP by economical efficiency is higher than EHP. But EHP is preferred than GHP by point of maintenance managements and organization of instrument. GHP need active supports of government to solve energy problems; demand control of gas and efficiency of using energy.
