A Study on the A Funeral dirge local Jenranamdo : Based and centered on death consciousness by speaker
Abstract
This paper is aimed for make clear about how conscious of death which appeared on funeral dirge is described differently by each speakers, and targeted .
Grouping and sorting out speakers aspect according to funeral dirge's editorial contents for these purpose. Speaker is divided into the dead person speaker and the living person speaker, and the living person speaker is divided into the bereaved family speaker and Sangdukkun speaker again
Also, according to the substance or the way of statement, speaker is divided into single speaker and complex speakers.
Attitude of speakers, when they are faced with the death, is expressed variously by their own sentiments. In case, the speaker considered death as cutting only, they mainly expound negative ways about death, like transient and nothingness of life time. However, when the speaker considered about death, not the severance between the world beyond and this world but the extend of life time, and repeated refreshing or reincarnation by circulatory reason of nature, they appeared very affirmative and transcendental attitude. Also, it seemed change of speakers discord desire when their mental state is changed.
Attitude about death that appeared differently by each speakers decides personality of death consciousness.
As well as personality of death consciousness appears to differ according to speaker, it differs when it is soliloquize statement uniformity speaker's occasion and is response way statement.
Also, personality of death consciousness is changed if respond with some another.In the case of dead person speaker, negative and positive about death when the statement is soliloquize, and express all of attitudes, includes discord death. However, respond with a bereaved family, they expressed consciousness of positive death intensively, and respond with Sangdukkun speaker, they expressed consciousness of negative death intensively.
Also, most of bereaved family speakers express negatively, Breakingly, and the reality intention of death, but when it comes to Sangdukkun, speakers appeared the concept of oriented circumstance, and positive death.
According to this study, we confirm conscious of death is not been consistent with behavior, but changed when the speaker's situation or object is changed.
Also, value of the life was projected in speaker's conscious of death. Therefore, according to speaker's sense of values, the change of their desire structures cause the change of conscious of death and can examine death ceremony by speaker closely. The funeral dirge, what is handed down orally, shown change with the change of concept of editorial, but the study of funeral dirges speaker can grasp fidelity of consciousness about speaker's death by free removal on time, space through representative experience.
