한국 연안 해파리류의 생태 및 지리적 분포

Abstract

In the present study, 30 jellyfish species were described and photographed along the Korean coastal waters from March 2004 to July 2007 based on the direct observation with SCUBA diving and underwater photographing. Of the species described in the study, 19 species were identified up to Genus level at least, and 11 species were identified up to Order level so far. For the foregoing 30 species, their ecological characteristics (e.g., behavior characteristics of feeding, resting and swimming behavior) were described briefly with several underwater photographs.
