BR/NBR 블렌드의 물성에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- The blending of Butadiene rubber(BR) with Nitrile rubber(NBR) was carried out on an open 2-roll mill following the conventional polymer blend method and then other ingredients were added. Vulcanized sheets were prepared using a hot press and the Mooney viscosity, cure behaviors and tension set were subsequently examined. Also, the mechanical properties, heat and ozone resistance of the specimens were investigated. Due to the post curing during the aging test, the hardness of vulcanizates was increased. With increase of heat aging time the tensile strength and elongation at break were decreased. It was found that the optimum cure time was significantly reduced with loading of NBR. The ozone resistance of pure BR was worsed through the blending of NBR with BR.
