모형실험을 통한 가두리의 적정 침강력 도출

Abstract
In this study, model experiments were carried out at interval of 0.1m/s of velocity from the range of 0.0∼0.6m/s, shape and drag in model cage were measured according to the velocity and sinking force. In addition, the paper analyzed the relationship between shape and drag by tilt angle of model cage net. The results shows a method to estimating optimum sinking force for fish cage by considering the decreased volume.
The results for drag and shape by tilt angle of model cage were as follows ;

1. The tilt angle were increased due to increased velocity, so drag force acting on the model cage increased.

2. The projected area of cage tended to decrease when the velocity was increased.

3. There were not big difference between results of experiments and calculations in deformed tilt angle.

4. In order to keep the rate of the deformed volume less than 40%, the optimum sinking force was estimated 1.62kg in condition with the flow velocity 0.3m/s, drag 2.1N and tilt angle 50˚.
