2007년 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 3학년 통계단원의 교과서 비교분석

Abstract

Abstract Textbooks are important tools that reflect the plans of curriculum and transit them into the field of education. After the problems of the 7th Educational Curriculum had been revised and corrected, the revised 2007 Educational Curriculum came out, and consequently a textbook was revised as well. Particularly, the new statistics unit in 3rd middle school consists of 'representative values' and 'degrees of scattering' while previous versions of 'correlation' and 'correlation diagram' are eliminated. Thus, this thesis tries to do a comparative analysis of the statistics unit in 14 different kinds of the authorized middle school mathematics 3 textbooks based on the 2007 revised curriculum.

The main contents are as follow: 1. To compare textbook layout structures by examining each unit structure. 2. To compare the contexts of preparation study, learning aim, research activity, plot development, wrap up study, and reading material. 3. To compare the contexts of each textbook in order to assess improvements regarding mathematical ability which is emphasized in the revised 7th national curriculum.
