Design of explosion proof lighting System
Abstract
Light Emitting Diode (LED) has good features ; color, brightness, lifetime and so on. Because of these optical properties of LED, it has been used in various fields. And Many studies are underway using LED. In this study, the explosion proof light was designed by using LEDs.
LED light source(4 LED) is arranged in a diamond form at circle(circle's radius 170 mm). The LED is not placed on a flat surface. The LED array has to have the angle of 40, 50, 55, 60, 70. And we designed reflector for a more efficient result. Reflector was designed to have a variety of angles and layers. And then we had to readjust the LED's array form, angle. And analyzed optical properties by using simulation. As a result, Explosion proof light is designed to satisfy specification of LED light source to emit surrounding.
Lighting design program enables efficiency test and optical analysis without actual prototypes. We are suitable for explosion-proof lighting system with LED array and the reflector was designed. And through the simulation was to analyze the optical properties.
