- Abstract
- To decrease traffic accident in recently, most of studies are carrying out much feedback in spot where the traffic accidents took place. For the reasons, it needs to high accuracy of position information of traffic accident and it's very important. However, the accuracy of traffic accident position information through existing methods is very low and it needs to be verified for applying it to the field.
This study got the position information of traffic accidents using Network RTK GPS. And collected information are homogenized to GRS80 through coordinate transformation process. Also, this study compared the position information through existing method and actual traffic accident position and analyzed accuracy. Through the process, the objective of this study is to contribute to decrease traffic accidents and increase accuracy of traffic accidents total management.
Traffic accident position information using Network RTK GPS method is possible to got more correct and quick results than existing methods(Hand GPS, Local Map+Rough Map). The result of traffic accident position information compared with T.S was X-axis RMSE=±0.031m and Y-axis RMSE=±0.032m. And the result of traffic accident position information using Hand GPS was X-axis RMSE=±2.451m and Y-axis RMSE=±1.645m. Also the result of traffic accident position information using Local Map and Rough Map was X-axis RMSE=±7.897m and Y-axis RMSE=±7.706m.
Through the results, it will need to verification for applying traffic accident position information using existing method. As the result of this study, Network RTK GPS is possible to got the traffic accident position information of accuracy of Cm scale. Also it will be able to apply to get the dangerous article position information.
