금융기관 BCP 프로토타입에 관한 연구

Abstract

After restoration paradigm of user view appeared in the 1980s, Business Continuity Plan(BCP) has been spreading out in the 1990s focusing on the US with the concept that operation without business stopping is ultimate. Especially, systematic risk management demand of banks around the world is being reinforced according to the officially announced 2004 BaselⅡ Regulation. By introducing system during operation for BCP establishment, prompt response can be possible for environment changes and can provide efficient basic data when writing BCP Plans. It minimizes error occurrence possibility in emergencies, provides flexible practice training scenarios, and can efficiently conduct monitoring. This study derives an improved plan by analyzing the current status of the domestic financial BCP system which has been built and has final purpose in building a system that can numerically analyze the effect of risk management by quantifying risk in qualitative perspective. Unlike the market and credit risk in which quantitative analysis is possible, operation and reputation risk is subject of qualitative perspective and effect of numerical introduction couldn't be analyzed. Through this system by assessment of effect and frequency of main duty of organization, the risk management subject was quantified by calculating the loss amount when stopping duty, economic effect of practice training and current status in real situations could be analyzed in numerical perspective.
