- Abstract
- In order to improve the major weakness of power line communication (PLC), that is, data loss by electrical load change, smart communication module transmits container's inside and position information to server system via ethernet and Wi-Fi networks. With this module we can gather very useful information such as temperature, humidity, and alarms through interrogator port that almost every reefer container is equipped with. We can also check out the door opening condition and ship localization with intelligent container system based on RFID/USN, AIS system and smart phone. Therefore, administrators in Ubiquitous port with intelligent container monitoring system can monitor container's current condition and position by middleware. Futhermore, users such logistics firms and shipper can check them in real time by web page and smart phone.
