Abstract
In the 2015 revised curriculum, software education in elementary schools emphasizes that software education should be carried out in an easy and fun way by organizing content based on play and experience. This study proposed a CM-TCS teaching and learning method for text programming language education for advanced users and senior students who have learned block programming language among elementary school students.
Among the text-based languages, I chose the Python programming language that is simple to use and has easier grammar than other languages. In addition, in order to reduce the burden of being difficult to learn compared to block programming languages, we propose a physical computing education method using drones.
In order to reduce the difficulty of learning an English text-based programming language, basic examples are provided so that learners can practice the instructor's demonstration as it is, and modify the basic examples to solve the challenge presented by the instructor. This is a repetitive activity in the previous part of the entire class, reducing simple grammar errors or indentation errors in Python, and allowing you to have confidence and interest in problem solving and programming rather than injecting learning about the grammar of the Python programming language. In the next class, the contents experienced and learned from the previous class are understood to understand the control structure and create a program. And, through cooperative learning that shares the results of problem solving, it is possible to learn the process of solving problems in real life through problem-based learning.
